SPECIFIC GRAVITY SEPARATOR

The Mercer Specific Gravity Separator machine GVS Series are used for sorting/separation of the same size of particles in different specific weight. They are used when the screen and air cleaning is not sufficient and high purity of the final product is required. The Mercer Gravity Table is an effective final cleaning unit for any Seed Processing Plant.

It is suitable for separating shriveled light seed, cut seed, insect damaged seed, seed size mud clods and other contaminant from

the seed lot to get good seed of high quality, purity and germination levels.

Applications : Seed Processing of Grain, cereals, pulses, corn, fine seed, legumes, cotton seeds, oil seeds, grass seeds, paddy etc.

Adjustable valves controls the heavy, middling and light product outlets.

Adjustable sections include: Side tilt, End raise, Deck speed, Fan speed and Air flow.

Variations in deck speed, air volume, deck material, deck angle (length wise and side wise), and take-off points allow effective separation to be achieved on almost any dry product.
